The masses of water from several reservoirs at the summit level and halfway up the Karlsberg above the city of Kassel attract thousands of visitors to the park area several times a week during the summer months. They want to see the baroque water features that are there between the 1. May and the 3. October on every Wednesday and Sunday and public holiday from 14.30 pm be organized. Access is free unless you take part in a guided tour. At this event, visitors follow the course of the water through various attactions: the water stairs to the Neptune terrace, the romantic garden, the Devil's Bridge, the aqueduct, the thirty-meter-high waterfall and the impressive fountain that marks the end of the water spectacle. For three hundred years, these water games take place - without the support of pumps, operated only by pure gravity. They belong today UNESCO World Cultural Heritage.
