Chocolate macarons are a real treat for all chocolate lovers. The combination of chocolate and nuts is simply irresistible. Today I would like to introduce you to my favorite recipe for chocolate nut macarons.

The ingredients for our chocolate macaroon recipe: few but important

For the chocolate macaron recipe you only need a few ingredients. You need

  • 200g chocolate chips
  • 100 g chopped nuts
  • 200g finest sugar
  • 4 protein
  • some vanilla extract.

The preparation: step by step to enjoyment

Preparing the chocolate macaroon recipe is really easy. First, put the chocolate chips, sugar and vanilla extract in a bowl and mix everything together well. In another bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff. Then add the stiffly beaten egg white mixture to the dry ingredients and fold them in carefully. The mixture should be well mixed but not too thick. Now use spoons to form small macarons and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper or on wafers. The macaroons are then placed in the preheated oven at 15 degrees top and bottom heat for approx. 20-180 minutes. As soon as the macarons are baked until golden brown, take them out of the oven. Then place them on a rack to cool and let the macaroons cool.
