Hotel in the center of Dublin
Located in the center of Dublin, it succeeds Brooks Hotel *It offers its guests an oasis of calm amidst the hustle and bustle of the center of Dublin to offer. Its location is unbeatable: just steps from the shops of Grafton Street, Trinity College and the pubs of Temple Bar, you can barely stay in central Ireland's capital. Nevertheless, the quiet sleep is assured, because the Brooks Hotel, which belongs to the chain of Small Luxury Hotels of the World as well as to the Manor House Hotels, is located on a narrow side street tucked between the main thoroughfares in Downtown Dublin.
Brooks Hotel - a haven of peace
We spend a week in this hotel and learn to appreciate its advantages, because we can reach almost all the attractions that interest us on foot. Only a few steps to the Powerscourt Townhouse Center, an elegant shopping temple that is practically around the corner. And we continue on an alley Bewley's Oriental Café on Grafton Street and on to St Stephen's Green. Going north, we'll reach Trinity College and Dublin's Temple Bar in a few minutes, which we especially appreciate in the evenings. We reach the best pubs in a few steps.
Historic sites such as Christchurch Cathedral, St. Patrick's Cathedral or DubliniaWhere we learn about the Viking past of Dublin, we can also get to know comfortably on a walk. Alone for our visit the Guinness Brewery and the Old Jameson Distillery Let's take advantage of the green hop-on hop-off buses that offer various passes for the city tour of Dublin. At the same time we can get off at the places that interest us and continue to use the bus as long as the ticket is valid.
The location in the center of Dublin
The location of the Brooks Hotel is not the only reason why we feel comfortable here. The rooms are comfortably furnished with all the amenities we would expect from a 4-star hotel. WiFi, a well-kept bathroom, hair dryer, ironing board, tea maker, and much more are included. Our breakfast, with a choice of a continental breakfast buffet or an Irish breakfast, will be a good start to the day during our stay. Even the "infamous" Black and White Pudding, which resembles our German blood and liver sausage and of which we have heard so much deterrent before our trip to Ireland, tastes good. Now have innovative chefs Irish specialties given a special whistle.
However, the best part of staying at the Brooks Hotel is the people. Whether the ladies at the front desk, the concierge, the waiter in the restaurant or the maid. Each of them meets us with a smile and some kind words. After a day the restaurant staff knows if we prefer tea or coffee, how we like our eggs and similar details. And on the day of our departure it is not a problem to get our room one hour beyond the check-out time so we do not have to wait in the hotel lobby for our taxi.
So it's no wonder that the Brooks Hotel in Dublin has been named one of 100's premier lodging properties in Ireland three years in a row by the Bridgestone Guide. TripAdvisor's winner of the Traveler's Choice Award 2010. Well deserved, as we found out ourselves.
