Typical Irish food. These include Irish stew, Irish coffee, and shepherd's pie. Who doesn't know them? Typical Irish food is home cooking. It's hearty and savory. It's even poor man's food. At least, those were Irish specialties as I knew them. However, a lot has changed in Ireland's kitchens in recent years.
I'm on a fact-finding tour through Ireland to learn about the region's culinary trends. Together with seven other food and travel bloggers from around the world, I'm on a journey to discover the region's culinary trends. We're visiting producers, pubs, and restaurants.
The Wunsum lavender factory is located on the Sausal Wine Route on a mountain ridge just outside of Kitzeck. We visited them on our pleasure trip along the Sausal Wine Route. On site we find a little paradise full of scents, tastes and wonderful views.

When the pear tree blossoms in the Mostviertel at the end of April, a weekend of pleasure in the Mostviertel is particularly beautiful. This is best from the end of April to mid-May. Then the pear trees bloom there. Their white tree tops shine everywhere in the meadows and in front of the woods.
