We experience the Salzburg Christmas market by day and by night, and I have to say, it's definitely more atmospheric when it's dark. Only then do the lights, candles, and stars truly come into their own. Even if we wrap our scarves thickly around our necks, pull our hats further down over our faces, and slip our hands into warm gloves.
For us, this is part of a typical Christmas market visit. Don't you feel the same? That's when a hot mulled cider or orange punch tastes best!
