We had the opportunity to taste the wines at the Loisium Wine & Spa Resort in Langenlois in the Kamptal in the Waldviertel. A dinner in the hotel, a wine tasting in the Loisium wine adventure world and a picnic in the vineyards above Langenlois give us the opportunity to do so.
Langenlois proudly describes itself as the largest wine town in Austria. The Kamptal wine region, in which the Loisium Wine and Spa Resort is located, is well worth a visit. One thing applies to the region. Connoisseurs and wine lovers come here.
The Loisium Wine & Spa Resort in southern Styria rightly bears its name. "Lois" is short for Langenlois, the place where the first Loisium Resort was built. “Elysium” means paradise in Greek mythology. A good description for this hotel.
