Tips for visiting the beach

Of course, there are also sandy beaches on Cape Cod that are outside the National Seashore. However, many of them border directly on the towns on the north coast of Cape Cod and are therefore also very popular with locals.
During the peak summer season, however, the parking lots there often have parking restrictions for non-Cape Codders, who are not allowed to park their cars in the beach parking lots during certain times of the day. However, one of them is always open to the public:

Like most beaches on Cape Cod, it is well equipped with a large parking lot (charges for parking apply), a bathhouse and an ice cream vendor, that keeps coming back regularly.
