Experience wine regions and wines

Wine regions and wines are guaranteed to provide a special treat when traveling. Not only that, in wine regions in addition to regional wines, much emphasis is placed on cuisine. In addition, there is usually a lifestyle that celebrates enjoyment, good food and wine.

But not only that. The wines and their seasons are celebrated with pleasure. There are wine festivals in summer. Or those who celebrate the beginning of the grape harvest. There are festivals for the first wine of the year. Or choose the best wine of the vintage.

And when in the winter the vineyards rest and prepare for the coming year, the wine region is celebrated with art and culture, design and creativity. Artists exhibit their works in wineries. There are vernissages or poetry readings on wineries. Or you can organize festive events. Everyone celebrates the wines, the regional specialties and the art. There are certainly many ways to discover wine regions.

Wine regions are true paradise for connoisseurs. Experience it with us:

Lavender from Styria

The Wunsum lavender factory is located on the Sausal Wine Route on a mountain ridge just outside of Kitzeck. We visited them on our pleasure trip along the Sausal Wine Route. On site we find a little paradise full of scents, tastes and wonderful views.

Wine Events and Wine Festivals around the World

Attending wine festivals and events is pure pleasure for wine lovers. You can experience this in wine regions in Europe, Australia or South Africa. That's why we asked travel bloggers from all over the world which wine events they have attended and what is special about them.

South Styrian Wine Route - Buschenschank

The South Styrian Wine Route always winds along the ridge of the chain of hills, the slopes of which drop steeply down into the valley. Many of the wineries are on the hilltop. Others nestle close to the mountain slopes. Some lie over the valley like an eagle's nest.

A Newfoundland wine called Funky Puffin

Newfoundland wine is nothing new, as the island may be the Vinland of the Vikings. One thing is certain, however. The Newfoundland winery certainly never had the rows of vines that we know from other parts of Canada. Instead, it's famous for the Newfoundland Blueberry Wine.
